Students Category: Open to students, interns and trainees aged 14 and over who are enrolled in tourism, gastronomy, food and beverage, food technology, tourist guiding, hotel management or related departments at vocational high schools or universities (associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes), or in gastronomy, cookery and food and beverage programmes at public education centres, institutes of maturation and private training institutions.
General Category: Open to participants aged 17 and over.
Note: Photographs submitted to the Students and General categories must depict dishes specific to Anatolia, including Thrace.
Cyprus Cuisine Category — Independent Special Category
- This special category is open to participants in both main categories: General and Students.
- After entering one of the main categories, participants may also enter the Cyprus Cuisine Category with a different food photograph, independently of their main-category entry.
- The Cyprus Cuisine Category has a separate jury assessment, ranking and awards.
- A photograph submitted to either main category cannot also be entered in the Cyprus Cuisine Category. A separate, different photograph is required.
