- The competition is open to everyone in Türkiye and worldwide.
- The cuisine photos must be specific to the Anatolian geography (including the Thrace region). The Pre-Evaluation Selection Committee will evaluate the eligibility of the photos for Anatolian geography. If the food is not specific to the Anatolian region, the submitted photo will not be considered for further evaluation.
- The competition is open to amateurs and professionals.
- Participation in the competition is free.
- Photos must be submitted in jpg format and in their original resolution.
- Photographs produced with artificial intelligence are not accepted for the competition.
- A person can participate in the competition with maximum five (5) photos.
- Participants must fill in the “Participation Form” above and submit them to [email protected] along with the photos.
- Photos must have minimum 12 MP resolution (12 MP = 4,256 x 2,832 pixels).
- The photos submitted to the Anatolian Cuisine Photography Contest should be original works which have not granted an award or sent to another competition during the current one. Those photos which have already won awards or been produced by altering certain parts of previously winning works or by assembling multiple photos will not be accepted.
- Technical adjustments (color, sharpness, dust removal, and contrast settings) on photos are accepted.
- Photos produced by assembling multiple photos will not be accepted.
- There should be no human images in the photos. Photos with human images will be considered invalid.
- Participation with photos belonging to other people will not be accepted. In such cases, even if the photo(s) is/are selected for the final or awarded, the prizes will be revoked and this will be announced to the public.
- The right to publish, use, and exhibit photos shortlisted for final and awarded in the competition belongs to the Anatolia Tourism Academy and the Tourism Education and Educators Association.
- The participant accepts, declares and undertakes that, as of the date of the announcement of the competition results, the photos that have won the award or earned the right to be exhibited may be used in internet, visual and written press channels without any constraints on location and content, with the name of the participant and/or title of the work being used in order to promote the affiliated institutions within the management and institutions, and that he/she has given the right to use the reproduction, processing, representation, broadcasting, and publication rights of the work/work that she/he has won the award and that has earned the right to be exhibited, in accordance with the provisions of the Copyright and Related Rights Law and other related legislation.
- The owner of the work accepts, declares and undertskes that she/he will not revoke the authorization she/he has given for the use of the works used in this way and will not prevent the use of the work in the aforementioned way or that she/he does not and will not have any claim for material or moral rights or demands for this authorization from the Anatolia Tourism Academy and The Tourism Education and Educators Association and that she/he accepts non-refundable, declaration and commitment.
- The participant accepts, declares and undertskes that all photos sent for the competition belong entirely to her/him, have been taken by her/himself, and all permits have been obtained.
- Award-winning and exhibit-worthy photos can be published on the websites of the Anatolia Tourism Academy and the Tourism Education and Educators Association, as well as on their social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and all kinds of digital media accounts for promotional purposes and in accordance with the purpose of the competition.
- Participants who send photos to the competition are considered to have read and agreed to the provisions stated in this Competition Specification. The award and title of a participant whose violation of the competition rules is discovered later will be revoked.
- Accommodation will be provided for the winners to attend the award ceremony.
